{"id":317,"date":"2021-09-28T16:08:52","date_gmt":"2021-09-28T20:08:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wpbid.com\/?p=317"},"modified":"2021-10-21T13:56:11","modified_gmt":"2021-10-21T17:56:11","slug":"rxr-realty-has-deal-to-build-first-phase-of-hamilton-green-project-in-white-plains","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wpbid.com\/news\/2021\/09\/28\/rxr-realty-has-deal-to-build-first-phase-of-hamilton-green-project-in-white-plains\/","title":{"rendered":"RXR Realty has deal to build first phase of Hamilton Green project in White Plains"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Westchester &amp; Fairfield County Business Journals<\/em>, Peter Katz, September 28, 2021<\/p><p>RXR Realty has reached an agreement through a related entity to buy the first phase of the proposed Hamilton Green mixed-use project in White Plains.<\/p><p>Attorney Mark Weingarten of the White Plains law firm DelBello Donnellan Weingarten Wise &amp; Wiederkehr LLP said construction could begin next year.<\/p><p>Weingarten is representing developers WP Mall Realty LLC, Hamilton Green I Partners LLC and SWDWP LLC, which are asking for amendments to the conceptual development plan and site plan for the transit-oriented development proposed for 200 Hamilton Ave., now the site of the White Plains Mall.<\/p><p>\u201cWe\u2019re here before you today to talk about the new project with some slight changes that we\u2019d like to have approved so we can get this built and in the ground,\u201d Weingarten told the Common Council during a work session at White Plains City Hall Monday evening.<\/p><p>\u201cIn order to facilitate the financing and construction of this project, the property received approval for the creation of a commercial condominium, which enables the project to be financed and built in two phases,\u201d Weingarten said. \u201cPhase one will be constructed on condominium unit one, roughly half the site \u2026 on the Cottage Place side, which is currently owned by WP Realty LLC. You know them.
