Did you know? One of the ways we support our local business community is through advocacy, whether that\u2019s helping a local business connect with City Hall on a small permitting issue or elevating larger thematic concerns in the sphere of public policy. <\/span><\/p>

<\/span>This week our Executive Director, Jennifer Furioli, joined dozens of other downtown organizations from across the State of New York in Albany to meet with legislators and their staff on shared topics of importance to downtowns and the critical role that downtowns and their businesses play in the fabric of a community. The group met with over 50 different legislators and their staff in a whirlwind of educational and productive meetings.<\/span><\/p>
