Rock the Block Updates<\/strong><\/a><\/p>

Our second Rock the Block concert took place last Wednesday, and it was a memorable evening celebrating both local and emerging talent! We were thrilled to welcome 10-year-old rock and blues guitarist <\/span>Bay Melnick Virgolino<\/a> from <\/span>The Only Bay Allstars<\/a>, who opened the night with an impressive set. <\/span><\/p>

Bay was recently featured on <\/span>ABC News Live<\/a>, where he discussed his journey as a young guitarist, his guitar, and his creative songwriting process. You can watch the interview <\/span>here<\/a>. He also appeared on America\u2019s Got Talent on Tuesday, July 1st! We\u2019re excited to see what\u2019s next for this talented young boy. <\/span><\/p>

The evening was capped off by <\/span>The Big Takeover<\/a>, a reggae, ska, and soul band from the Hudson Valley, who brought smooth grooves and feel-good energy to the audience. <\/span><\/p>

But the fun doesn\u2019t stop there! We have two more Rock the Block concerts coming up this summer! Join us on <\/span>July 16<\/span> and <\/span>August 20<\/span>, both on the third Wednesday of the month. In just two weeks, the July concert will feature <\/span>The Wildmans<\/a>, a sibling duo consisting of Elsha and Aila Wildman, who are rooted in Appalachian mountain music. They have performed on stages big and small, from East Coast festivals to Colorado. We will also have <\/span>The Big Happy<\/a>, a band from Long Island that plays high-energy music, blending Jam, Hip Hop, and Rock and Roll.<\/span><\/p>

As always, al fresco dining, mini-golf, arts and crafts, and other free yard games will be available to the public.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>
